UCT is looking for a talented Sr Mgr, Manufacturing to join us in Singapore!
Job Summary:Provide leadership to manufacturing dept include KPIs setting with goals driven, strategic planning and accountable for lines disciplines, efficiency & productivity, safety, quality, scrap reduction & avoidance and resource & cost optimization.
Combine flair for identifying and implementing simple solutions to complex problems with hands-on and lead by example management style in fostering a culture of teamwork, shared values & mission and a dedication to excellence.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set, maintain and meet Manufacturing Goal & Objective and KPI
- Oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations, supervise team to ensure that production quantity and quality targets are met
- Monitor capacity vs Demand, plan manpower and equipment resources.
- Ensure production practices comply to 6S practice, company process, ISO and internal standard requirement
- Oversee troubleshooting of product, quality and equipment, anticipate potential operational issues and derive appropriate corrective actions
- Liaise closely with Manufacturing Engineer, Quality, Warehouse, Materials and other supporting department to make sure no down time on the line
- Be part of the production start-up team to implement production line and work-station set-up for assembly and sub assembly work – Support new product launches
- Partnering with departmental managers to create and maintain production planning schedule
- Implement Lean manufacturing practices
- Participate and prepare for customer audit
- To give timely and accurate feedback to Manager on daily and weekly update
- Ensures consistent on-time delivery and zero quality issue to customers
- Chair daily/ weekly/ monthly meetings with team members
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Good understanding and application of Manufacturing Planning and Process Management
- Good leadership and people organizational skill
- Good problem solving and analytical skills
- Able to communicate well with all levels of employees
Educational/Certification Requirement:
- Relevant Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any related Engineering field
- At least 5 to 8 years of experience in production an
- Operational management experience may be considered
