Ocean Freight Executive (Freight Forwarding)

Job Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of ocean freight customers and shipments in accordance with company procedures and customer requirements
- Liaise with carriers, transporters, warehouses and customs to ensure timely and efficient shipment delivery
- Prepare and verify shipping documents such as Bill of Lading, invoices, packing lists, and other required documentation
- Monitor shipment schedules and provide timey updates to customers regarding shipment status and any potential delays
- Provide excellent customer service and support to internal and external stakeholders
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and drive operational efficiencies
- Maintain accurate records and provide detailed reporting on shipment status and KPIs
- Diploma in Logistics or relevant field
- 2-4 years' experience in freight forwarding or a related logistics role
- Knowledge of ocean freight processes, documentation and regulations
- Permit Declarant will be an advantage
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- A team player with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset
