Accounts Executive (Logistics / Freight Forwarding)

A well-established logistics and freight forwarding company is looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Executive to support daily finance operations and ensure accurate financial records.

This role is ideal for accounting professionals who enjoy working in a fast-paced logistics environment and want to strengthen their experience in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and financial reconciliation.

You will work closely with operations and sales teams to ensure smooth billing processes and maintain financial accuracy across shipment transactions.

• Prepare and issue customer invoices based on shipment transactions and operational requirements
• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) by monitoring outstanding payments and following up with customers
• Process vendor invoices and Accounts Payable (AP) to ensure timely payments to suppliers and service providers
• Reconcile customer and supplier statements against internal financial records
• Assist in month-end closing activities, including account reconciliation and financial reporting
• Maintain accurate documentation of financial transactions in accordance with company policies and audit requirements
• Collaborate with operations and sales teams to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure billing accuracy
• Support internal and external audits and assist with other finance administrative tasks when required

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• 2–3 years of accounting experience, preferably within logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain industries
• Hands-on experience in Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and invoicing
• Familiarity with basic accounting principles and financial reconciliation
• Experience using SAP or other accounting systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple transactions accurately
• A team player with good communication skills to collaborate across departments
