Events Sales

As an Event Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, building relationships with prospective clients, and driving event sales. You will collaborate with the event planning team to understand client needs and ensure that the event services align with their expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Client Acquisition:
- Identify and target potential clients across multiple channels, including networking, referrals, and outbound marketing.
- Proactively reach out to leads, schedule meetings, and present event service offerings to prospective clients.
- Sales Presentations & Proposals:
- Conduct sales presentations, showcasing our event planning services and offerings to potential clients.
- Develop and deliver customized proposals tailored to the client’s specific needs and event requirements.
- Negotiation & Contract Management:
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
- Ensure all contracts are accurately executed and the client's expectations are met or exceeded.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, ensuring repeat business and referrals.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire sales and event planning process.
- Collaborate with Internal Teams:
- Work closely with the event planning and production teams to ensure client needs are met during event execution.
- Stay updated on new services, event trends, and market demands to effectively pitch to potential clients.
- Sales Reporting & Goal Achievement:
- Track and report on sales metrics, lead conversions, and revenue generation.
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in sales, event planning, or related fields.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand client needs and provide customized event solutions.
- Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and other sales tools.
- Attributes:
- Highly motivated, self-starter with a passion for sales.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
- Strong ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative team player who works well with others.
