Assembly Technician (3 or 6 months contract, Convert to Perm)

Responsibilities :

• To assist Engineer to assemble, build, test and trouble-shoot automated robots.
• Follow work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams and work instructions.
• Identify, correct errors and improve processes.Assist Engineer in carrying out new machine/equipment start-up.
• Assist Engineer in carrying out new robots/equipment start-up.
• Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards.

Requirements :

• Nitec/Higher Nitec/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical,Mechatronics or related field.
• Min 1 year of relevant experience.
• Ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Detail-orientated with strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience in the electronics or semiconductor industry is preferred.
• Prior assembly experience will be an added advantage.
• 5 days work week (Mon to Fri : 8.15am to 5.15pm).
• Transport pick-up at Bedok MRT.

This role is a 3-6 months contract position for an ad hoc project, with the opportunity for conversion to a permanent position based on performance and business needs.
