A leading bank-backed insurance company is seeking a Senior Executive, Credit Control to join their dynamic Finance Operations team. This is a newly created position that offers a unique opportunity to shape and streamline our credit control processes.

• Manage and lead all aspects of accounts receivable and credit control operations.
• Develop and implement effective credit policies and procedures to minimize risk and improve cash flow.
• Monitor and analyze overdue accounts, ensuring timely collection and resolution of payment issues.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including underwriting and sales teams, to resolve complex billing and payment disputes.
• Generate detailed reports on credit control performance, providing key insights to management.
• Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements within the finance operations function.

• At least 4-5 years of hands-on experience in credit control or a similar accounts receivable management role.
• You've got a strong background in the insurance or financial services sector, giving you a solid understanding of the industry's unique challenges and regulations.
• You are a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• You have a proven track record of successfully managing a portfolio of accounts and improving collection rates.
• You're a strong team player who is comfortable working with various departments to achieve common goals.
• Experience with relevant accounting software and advanced Excel skills are a plus.
