Finance Manager (Fund/Asset Management)

Details:

• Salary: $7,000 - $8000, with AWS and Variable Bonus
• Mon to Fri: 9.00am-6.00pm

Responsibilities:

• Prepared and reviewed full sets of accounts, including monthly management accounts and financial statements.
• Managed weekly cash flow reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow projections for both corporate entities and investment funds.
• Handled quarterly GST filings and ensured timely and accurate tax computations and submissions.
• Coordinated with external stakeholders such as auditors, tax advisors, corporate secretaries, and consultants to support compliance and reporting requirements.
• Maintained accurate financial records, including fixed asset registers and intercompany transactions.
• Oversaw bank account administration, including account openings and supporting AML/KYC processes.
• Performed fund accounting activities such as capital call planning, capital account statements, and carried interest calculations.
• Ensured compliance with statutory requirements, financial regulations, and internal control policies.
• Identified and implemented process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and strengthen internal controls.
• Supported payment processing, expense claims, and day-to-day finance operations.
• Contributed to financial planning activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and capital management.
• Assisted with ad-hoc finance and operational projects as required.

Requirements:

• Chartered Accountant with 3–8 years of experience (preferably in fund/asset management)
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, fund accounting, and tax compliance
• Experience working with external auditors (Big 4 experience preferred)
