Junior QA/QC Engineer

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with developers, product teams, and senior QA professionals to support the build‑out of high‑quality, scalable products in a dynamic and innovative environment.

• Design, write, and execute manual and automated test cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage and validate that features meet requirements.
• Proactively identify issues, risks, and gaps at both the requirements and technical levels, collaborating closely with the team to resolve them.
• Identify, document, triage, and track defects, ensuring clear communication of issues to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance test automation frameworks across various products in alignment with the overall test strategy.
• Build and maintain test reporting systems and dashboards to improve visibility of testing metrics and activities.
• Work closely with developers to support solutioning and ensure requirements are fully understood and met.
• Document test results, create test summary reports for each test cycle, and ensure QA documentation is up to date.
• Stay informed on emerging technologies, testing frameworks, tools, and methodologies to continuously improve QA practices.
• Report directly to the QA Manager and support R&D initiatives related to QA/QC.
• Provide QA/QC support across multiple ongoing project implementations.

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computing, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.
• At least 2 years of experience
• Proven experience in software quality assurance with strong knowledge of manual testing techniques, QA fundamentals, and testing methodologies.
• Hands‑on experience with at least one test automation framework in the following areas:
• Web applications: e.g., Karate, Playwright, Selenium
• Mobile applications: e.g., Maestro, Appium
• APIs: e.g., Karate, Playwright, Postman
• Strong documentation skills, including writing test scenarios and cases using Gherkin syntax.
• Knowledge or experience with Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Experience with Git‑based tools such as GitLab or GitHub.
• Proactive, self‑motivated, and able to work independently.
