  • Direct talent (e.g., employees, customers) on-screen to achieve a natural and engaging performance.
  • Post-Production & Editing:
  • Work with team to edit video content for various platforms (e.g., Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook), ensuring it is optimized for each platform's specifications and best practices.
  • Add motion graphics, text overlays, sound design, color correction, and music to create polished, engaging final videos.
o Create static graphics and photo content to complement video posts using tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or Canva.
  • Editor Liaison: Act as the main point of contact for the video editing team. Provide clear and concise briefs, including the project vision, key objectives, and specific notes on the best takes.
  • Review & Feedback: Review rough cuts from the editors and provide constructive, timely feedback to ensure the final video meets the creative and strategic goals. This involves multiple rounds of review while maintaining a positive workflow.
  • Quality Control: Ensure the final edited videos are optimized for each social media platform (format, length, captions) before they are published.
  1. Social Media Strategy & Management (Marketing Focus)
  • Strategy Development: Assist in developing the overall social media strategy, including defining target audiences, setting goals (e.g., for reach, engagement, website clicks), and establishing a content calendar.
  • Content Publishing & Scheduling: Manage the content calendar and schedule all posts using social media management tools like Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, or Buffer.
  • Community Management: Act as the brand's voice online by:
  • Replying to comments and Direct Messages (DMs) across all platforms in a timely and engaging manner.
  • Proactively engaging with followers and related accounts to build community.
  • Handling customer service inquiries or escalating them when necessary.
  • Trendspotting: Continuously monitor social media trends, audio, and platform updates to ensure content remains relevant and viral-worthy.
  1. Analytics & Growth
  • Performance Analysis: Track, measure, and analyze the performance of all social media content (especially video) using native platform insights and analytics tools.
  • Reporting: Create regular reports on key metrics (e.g., views, engagement rate, follower growth, website traffic) and use data to make informed recommendations for improving future content and strategy.
  • Advertising Support: Assist in creating and managing paid social media campaigns, often using video content as the primary ad creative, to boost posts and target new audiences.
