Senior Financial Controller, Asia Pacific
Role Description
The Senior Financial Controller will be a profile with a broad finance experience. She or he will have experience managing the reporting/finance functions (accounting, budgeting, control, reporting and compliance) within a diverse, and country-based regional function.Relevant industry experience is a great plus, but not a requirement. As part of the financial team, the Senior Financial Controller, will play an important role in ensuring high quality in all reporting and compliance activities for the region and report directly to the CFO, Asia Pacific.
Responsibilities and Competencies:
Good financial understanding and experience in working with budgeting, PnL, direct costs, allocated costs, IT spends.
Solid knowledge of Finance, including: IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) – must-have / key requirement.
Profound experience in financial accounting, control and reporting.
Fully updated on contemporary accounting procedures
Understanding the complexities of a large international group of companies. Experience with regional reporting from international, multi-site businesses.
Experience in implementing transformation
Strong IT proficiency, particularly advanced Excel skills
Highly familiar with Business Intelligence systems, with a track record of producing reliable, executive-level financial summaries and reports
Experience using IT tools for financial purposes (e.g., Axapta, SAS)
Proven experience in the management and administration of ERP systems
