Senior Software Engineer (SharePoint)

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer (SharePoint) to oversee the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of SharePoint solutions across the organization. This role requires deep technical knowledge of SharePoint (2019, Subscription Edition), excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively to enhance collaboration, document management, and business workflows.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Lead the design, deployment, administration and maintenance of SharePoint environments (SharePoint (2019, Subscription Edition)).
2. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, propose solutions, and deliver projects that improve productivity and collaboration.
3. Oversee the migration of existing content to SharePoint Online using tools such as ShareGate, PowerShell scripts.
4. Develop and maintain custom workflows, forms, and dashboards.
5. Guide and mentor a team of SharePoint developers and administrators.
6. Ensure SharePoint governance policies are implemented and followed, including permissions, security, site lifecycle, and compliance.
7. Monitor and manage SharePoint performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and disaster recovery plans are in place.
8. Stay updated on Microsoft 365 and SharePoint roadmap features and recommend enhancements for continuous improvement.
9. Coordinate training and support for end-users and internal stakeholders.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
2. 5+ years of hands-on experience with SharePoint (2019, Subscription Edition).
3. Proven experience leading SharePoint projects from conception to delivery.
4. Proven experience in delivering government projects in GCC environment and involvement in performance and security testing.
5. Expertise in SharePoint Framework (SPFx), JavaScript, PowerShell, and REST APIs.
6. Experience with Microsoft 365, Teams, OneDrive, and related collaboration tools.
7. Solid understanding of information architecture, metadata, and content types.

Preferred:

• Familiarity with AWS and Azure Active Directory.
• Experience with Agile or DevOps methodologies.
