Process Engineer (Based in Laos)

About the role

We are seeking a talented Process Engineer to join our team based in Laos. As a Process Engineer, you will play a crucial role in optimising our manufacturing processes and ensuring the highest quality standards for our products. This is a full-time position and to be located in our plant in Laos permanently.

Responsibilites:

1. Liaise and co-ordinates with internal and external parties to ensure smooth implmentation of projects such as new product implementation and transfer, process and machinery modification & material evaluation.
2. Initiate and implementation of yield improvement projects through machine mechanization and process optimization.
3. Liaise with inter-plant to implement improvement projects and lead the Work Improvement Team (WIT).
4. Support Production for any excursion, bu using the 4M to find out the root cause, containment, corrective and preventive action.
5. Implement method studies and quality tools such as DOE, SPC, PFMEA and Statistical Testing.
6. Develop, implement and continuously improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, productivity and product quality.
7. To initial and develop new process flow through design and installation of new machinery to have quantum improvement in production efficiency and reliability.
8. Use and document all Engineering drawings and ECN. To lead and run Engineering evaluations.
9. Lead the Quality Change Process Checklist (QCPC) for new product transfer.
10. Identify and establish training programmes with the training department to improve the operational readiness for production personnel.
11. Lead a group of PMs and Process team to accomplish projects tasked.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Process, Mechanical or Production Engineering.
2. Minimum 2 years of experience as a Process Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
3. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment and technologies.
4. Proficient in data analysis, problem-solving and root cause analysis.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
6. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and tools.
7. Experience in the electronics or semiconductor industry is preferred.
8. Willing to be permanently based in Laos.
