Operations Executive

Role Purpose

We are seeking a high-caliber Operations Executive to serve as the critical link between our trading desk and physical delivery. You will manage the end-to-end operational lifecycle of crude oil cargoes from deals done to final settlement.

• Execution Management: Manage day-to-day operations, overseeing everything from contract vetting, insurance, appointing surveyors and port agents.
• Logistics Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for external stakeholders, including terminal operators and counterparties, to ensure efficient crude oil loading and vessel scheduling.
• Financial & Trade Security: Handle trade finance activities, and oversee the accuracy of billing, invoicing, and payment verification.
• Optimization: Proactively identify opportunities to streamline cargo flows and improve operational systems for better efficiency.

• Sector Expertise: Previous experience in cargo operations within a commodity trading house or oil major is highly preferred.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in both English and Chinese (Mandarin) is a significant advantage, as the role involves managing documentation and communicating with Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
• Interpersonal Excellence: A natural communicator capable of building trust with diverse stakeholders across the global supply chain.
