Assistant Security Manager

Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting the Director for Security in directing and co-coordinating overall activities of the department to achieve maximum efficiency and safety measures as required by the hotel.

• Assist in supervising and delegating duties to all staff within the department and to prepare their work schedules
• Assist with enforcing policies, procedures, rules and regulations laid down by the hotel in order to achieve uniformity and the required minimum level of standards
• Ensure maximum security and safety measures are provided towards the guests and the Hotel
• Maintain an accurate inventory of all security equipment and the working condition
• Assist in updating records and established filing system within the department
• Plan and organize periodical departmental training for staff in the areas of courtesy, efficiency, grooming diplomacy and job knowledge especially for new joiners
• Conduct regular inspection and meeting with staff to review and if necessary recommends re-modification of any security procedures
• Ensuring that all incident, inspection, discrepancies etc. are recorded into a log book and reports

• 4-6 years of experience in security management (hotel) or relevant industries
• Good working knowledge of security protocols and processes, in accordance with the local rules & regulations
• Able to manage security functions in a fast paced environment
• Familiar with various duties within property security management
