Senior Accounts Executive / Asst Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking a senior candidate at Senior Executive / Assistant Manager level who can take ownership of accounting functions and contribute to process improvements.

• Handle full sets of accounts including AR, AP, GL, and month-end/year-end closing
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and schedules in a timely manner
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements
• Manage and oversee daily accounting operations
• Supervise / guide 1–2 team members, including task delegation and review
• Work closely with internal stakeholders on financial matters
• Support audits, tax submissions, and reporting requirements
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls, especially related to inventory control

• Proven experience in handling full sets of accounts
• Prior experience in leading or supervising small teams (1–2 staff)
• Strong understanding of ERP/accounting systems, with ability to improve processes (especially inventory-related workflows)
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with at least 5 years of related working experience.
• Experience in trading, retail, or distribution environment is an advantage
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar)
