AVP, Data/Business Analyst, Group Audit

DBS Group Audit prides itself with the use of Data Analytics & Digital in enhancing audit effectiveness and efficiency. To that end, the Group Audit Data Chapter is responsible for driving innovation in Analytics & Digital to help audit teams uncover risks and control weakness across different markets; and advance the Digital Auditing journey.

DBS Group Audit Data Chapter is looking for a Senior Data Analyst / Data Translator to deliver end-to-end data analytics projects mainly for but not limited to the Global Financial Markets Audit and Risk Management & Finance Audit functions.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with business auditors to understand their analytics requirements, and work with our Technology team to design data analytics solutions to address those needs.
• Manage project progress, and track dependencies to ensure timely project delivery.
• Host regular meetings to update stakeholders on project status and gather feedback.
• Design and implement interactive dashboards to effectively present analytics results and insights to our business auditors.
• Apply data analytics techniques to fulfil project requirements, including exploratory data analysis and/or rule-base analysis.
• Work in close partnership with the technology team for the co-development and seamless deployment of analytical tools and solutions.
• Participate in the exploration and implementation of Generative AI (GenAI) use cases, contributing to the continuous innovation of our audit practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in managing and delivering data analytics projects.
• Proficient in data manipulation and analysis using SQL and Python
• Proficient in building dashboards with data visualization tools such as Tableau
• Experience in Generative AI and its applications is a plus.
• Knowledge of banking industry and internal audit function is a plus
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, and good stakeholder management skill.
