Business Analyst - Tech Grid Asia

As a Senior Analyst, you’ll play a pivotal role in bridging business needs with system capabilities—driving requirement gathering, designing technical solutions, and ensuring alignment between cross-functional teams. Collaboration will span across Japan, Singapore, and other APAC markets.

• Conduct detailed analysis of banking business processes and systems across:
• Internal interfaces & automation (e.g. Excel RPA)
• Payment systems (GIRO, FAST, XB/MEPS)
• Loan & Trade
• Engage in the full spectrum of banking systems including:
• Core banking, front- and back-office systems
• Regulatory reporting and MIS (Management Information Systems)
• Act as a dual Business & System Analyst to:
• Capture business needs with precision
• Evaluate technical feasibility and develop actionable solutions
• Liaise with stakeholders across multiple geographies (Japan, Singapore, APAC)
• Develop comprehensive documentation and workflow diagrams to facilitate stakeholder understanding
• Manage time effectively, mitigate risks, and oversee deliverables within your domain
• Champion transparency, collaboration, and accountability across project teams
• Provide clear, timely updates to senior management on progress, risks, and metrics
• Requirement gathering
• Technical design and development
• Testing, training, and deployment
• Documentation and stakeholder onboarding
• Drive end-to-end project execution including:
• Partner with Project Leads and Sponsors on strategic initiatives that align with organizational goals

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in requirements definition and business analysis as a Business Analyst
• Knowledge and practical experience in at least one of the following areas:
• FAST/GIRO Payment
• XB/MEPS Payment
• Internal Data Interface (Limited banking knowledge is sufficient. Familiarity with G/L and MT900 series statements, Reporting for MAS are a plus.)
• Loan and Trade (with strong bank business knowledge)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in design, specification formulation, and technical consideration as a System Analyst
