• Demonstrate expert-level product knowledge for IBM Spectrum Protect solutions and competitive solutions
• Perform billable services engagements, including installation/implementation of IBM Spectrum Protect
• Conduct technical training and educate Operations Team on IBM Spectrum Protect solutions and storage management
• To support 24/7 shift

1. In-depth knowledge on:

• IBM Tivoli Storage Manager Server on Windows & UNIX
• Knowledge on TSM Server and Client Options
• IBM Tivoli Storage Manager for Database (Oracle, DB2, SQL etc)
• IBM Tivoli Storage Manager for Mail (Domino and Exchange)
• IBM Tivoli Storage Manager for VMware
• NDMP Backup using IBM Tivoli Storage Manager
• DRM Implementation and Management using Tivoli Storage Manager
• Veritas Netbackup BAU operations for VM backup and recovery

1. Knowledge on:

• Tape Libraries and LTO Tape Drives

1. Audit application backup policies and environments
2. Should have desired Operating System Skills
3. Responsibilities include providing remote and onsite support
4. Analyse and resolve escalated problems within target
5. Problem determination & analysis skills
6. TSM product skills on OS: Windows, AIX, Solaris, Linux (basic Unix), DB2, and networking
