Infrastructure Engineer - Networks (JD#10225)
Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated Infrastructure Engineer to join IT network team and to work on projects for a renowned bank. The role involves Level 2 support for data center and campus networks. If you have a passion for technology and strong troubleshooting skills, we want to hear from you.
Mandatory Skill-set- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology and related discipline;
- Must have 10 years of experience in network troubleshooting across various platforms, and 3 to 5 years of experience supporting complex banking IT environments or equivalent;
- Must have Knowledge and experience on IP addressing and subnetting;
- Experience in vendor coordination and overseeing network deployment projects;
- Hands-on experience with onsite support for network deployments, including ACI, SDA, Huawei iMaster, F5, and wireless technologies;
- Must have knowledge and experience with network management systems (e.g., Cisco SDA, 5G wireless) and network analysis tools (e.g., Sniffer, Wireshark, Riverbed NetProfiler, NetBrain, Gigamon, ELK);
- Hands-on experience with advanced networking technologies including BGP, OSPF, MPLS, DWDM, DMVPN, GRE, IPsec VPN, QoS, Multicast, as well as Cisco SDA, NAC, and 5G wireless;
- Strong verbal and writing skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Certifications such as CCNP, HCNA or equivalent level in networking.
- Responsible for planning, coordinating, and collaborating with multiple vendors for network deployments in Data Center and Campus network;
- Responsible for managing network assets, IPs, circuits, and inventory; collaborating with vendor support teams to troubleshoot and resolve network issues; and conducting vulnerability reviews and assessments of network devices and appliances;
- Involved in network engineering and design of new initiatives, preparing network configurations for deployment, and providing 24x7 on-call support;
- Work closely with network teams across countries to review network architecture and design, troubleshoot issues, and manage the replacement of end-of-service (EOS) network systems and devices;
- Implement changes during green zone hours and assist Level 2 and 3 engineers with problem identification and resolution as needed;
- Track and ensure network configuration security compliance and fixes are applied within schedule;
- Hands on experience in Network Monitoring servers like Grafana, Nagios, Netbrain, Kibana and others;
- Responsible for 24/7 support, including morning, evening, night shifts, and weekend work, depending on operational needs.
