Assistant Trainer (Gym Tonic)
This is an entry to intermediate level full-time position attached to Gym Tonic in various Gym Tonic sites. Main duty is to assist the Trainer and support the Gym Tonic Programme. Gym Tonic (GT) is an evidence-based Strength Training Programme for the elderly which uses specialised machines which aims to build muscle strength in seniors above the age of 60 years old.
Core Job Scope:
- Conduct and supervise GT training program for elderly participants
- Conduct physical fitness assessments for elderly participants
- Assist Trainer in daily operations of the gym
Requirements:
- Minimum Basic Exercise Science
- Personal training certification such as FIC or ACE would be beneficial
- SGUS Community Care and Health certification would be beneficial
- Experience in the senior care and fitness coaching industry would be helpful
- Passionate to work with elderly to improve their physical and mental wellbeing
- Willing to travel around Singapore
