About the role
We are seeking an experienced Diesel Truck Driver to join our team. This is a full-time role where you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods across our distribution network. As a Diesel Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our clients receive their orders on time and in perfect condition.
What you'll be doing- To operate the vehicle in a safe and responsible manner.
- To agree to follow company policies & procedures, safety policies, environmental stewardship.
- Maintain cleanliness of company owned vehicle.
- Efficiently perform vehicle pre/post trip inspection in accordance with Company requirements
- Utilize onboard/portable electronic device to receive dispatched orders and record deliveries.
- Correctly load product at various loading facilities, adhering to the policies & procedures of the loading facility
- Deliver bulk fuel to customers, verifying the load is correct
- Participate in safety meetings and training as directed by the company
- Valid Singapore Class 4 license with a clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years' experience driving heavy goods vehicles, preferably with fuel or hazmat tanker experience
- Strong knowledge of road safety, vehicle maintenance and logistics best practices
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects
- Flexibility to work shifts, including early mornings, evenings and weekends
