Finance Manager

We are seeking a hands-on and commercially driven Finance Manager to oversee financial operations for our data centre construction and maintenance projects.

• Key Responsibilities

• Manage full set of accounts and monthly financial closing
• Prepare financial statements, cashflow, and management reports
• Perform variance analysis and provide insights to management

• Monitor project budgets vs actual costs
• Track material, subcontractor, and labour costs
• Identify cost overruns and recommend corrective actions

• Handle revenue recognition (POC / milestone basis)
• Manage Work-in-Progress (WIP), accruals, and deferred income
• Ensure proper matching of project revenue and costs

• Review project contracts, payment terms, and retention
• Track progress claims, certifications, and VO (variation orders)
• Support claims and cost recovery processes

• Prepare and monitor project cashflow forecasts
• Manage working capital and funding requirements
• Liaise with banks on facilities, BG, and financing

• Ensure timely invoicing and DO endorsement
• Monitor collections, outstanding AR, and retention recovery

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and GST regulations
• Liaise with auditors and prepare audit schedules

• Maintain and improve accounting systems (e.g. Xero)
• Strengthen internal controls and reporting processes

• Degree in Finance / Accounting (or equivalent)
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in construction / M&E / project-based environment
• Strong knowledge of:
• Project accounting
• Cost control & WIP
• Revenue recognition
• Experience in data centre or critical environment projects is an advantage
• Proficient in Excel and accounting systems
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
