Nurse Cum Phlebotomist

Position: Registered Nurse Cum Phlebotomist:

Responsibilities:

• Performs venipuncture for the collection of blood specimens for dispatch to the laboratory.
• Able to perform ECG on patients.
• Able to perform Vaccinations on patients.
• Able to perform Pap Smear & Vaginal Swab.
• Assist the Doctor with General Consultations.
• Assist with in-clinic procedures and surgical procedures.
• Able to dispense medication/consumables independently.
• Sorts and records all blood specimens collected, and ensures that they are correctly labelled, and dispatched to the Laboratory with accuracy and compliance.
• Administrative tasks include patient registration, sorting medical reports maintaining accurate patient medical records, and scheduling appointments.
• Assist management in improving, identifying, and implementing changes in the work processes of the Phlebotomy and Registered Nursing duties.
• Maintaining the required MOH standards of procedures, policies, and practices, as well as patient care and experience.
• Continuously upgrading nursing skills and nursing techniques.
• Lead, orientate, and guide new Phlebotomist or Nurse.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Management Team.

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Nursing
• Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board
