IT Infrastructure Engineer - Linux Server and AWS Cloud
Job Purpose: The Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise on-premises and cloud IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. The role focuses on infrastructure operations, system reliability, security and compliance within regulated environments.
Key Responsibilities- Design, deploy, and administer IT infrastructure includingcloud, servers, storage, and virtualization platforms.
- Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, and capacity.
- Implement and support cloud and hybrid infrastructure solutions.
- Administer and support core AWS related services including Red Hat OpenShift, S3, VPC, Transfer Family, Network Firewall, Direct Connect, Load Balancers, Route 53, security configurations, Lambda and Grafana.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and provide L2/L3 support.
- Implement infrastructure upgrades and patching.
- Maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Maintain infrastructure documentation, diagrams, and standard procedures.
- Monitoring and execution of batch jobs and file transfers.
- Ensure infrastructure complies with internal security policies and regulatory requirements.
- Support audits, risk assessments, and remediation activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure or a similar technical role.
- Relevant AWS Cloud related certifications.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud, Linux and Windows servers, networks, virtualization, Lambda and Grafana.
- Proven experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments.
