What You Will Do

As an Associate Engineer, Ticket Service Provider, you will oversee the planning and implementation of ticketing devices across the public transport network. You will also coordinate with stakeholders, manage asset replacement and troubleshooting, and ensure proper documentation to support reliable system performance.

Key Tasks You Will Be Involved In
  • Support in the planning, implementing and monitoring of overall supply chain, logistics and warehousing strategy and operations to maximize efficiency, productivity, and inventory control.
  • Support the team lead in managing a team of logistics officers and planning of their work-shift patterns. Lead the team in their daily operations which includes:
  • Managing of equipment to constantly track key Supply Chain KPIs such as stock inventory, equipment shelf life, etc.
  • Physical inspection of incoming/outgoing equipment to avoid any shortage, damage or defect.
  • Onsite activities (e.g. ad-hoc distributions or replacement of equipment).
  • Equipment testing and configurations to ensure reliability and compatibility with operational standards.
  • Support in overseeing the operations of Second Line Maintenance (SLM) workshop repair to ensure performances are within expected KPI standards.
  • Assist the team lead in technical troubleshooting and investigations of complicated fault scenarios to determine the root cause failure and propose solutions to improve availability, reliability and performance.
  • Collaborate and maintain good working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination and execution of works.
  • Coordinate with various teams to manage all TSP-related Assets’ information (e.g. updating and maintaining the Spare Parts Master List and Asset Registry), ensuring all assets specifications, version control, and system entries are accurately tracked within the MMS system.
  • Assist in the development and regular updating of various documentations (e.g. Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)s, Work Instruction (WI), Transmittal Form (TA), Reports, etc.) and monitor the validity & expiry of each documentation.
  • Assist in the periodic stocktaking, equipment tagging and verification to maintain inventory accuracy based on the First-In-First-Out (FIFO) practice.
  • Act as the System Administrator for TSP’s Maintenance Management System (MMS).
  • Perform any other duties as instructed by Reporting Officer.

This role might be for you if you have:

  • Strong training in Engineering related field is preferred.
  • 1 – 3 years of relevant working experience in an Operations & Maintenance (O&M) industry involving Supply Chain Management, Logistics, and/or Warehousing.
  • Possess Singapore Class 3 Driving License and comfortable to drive a manual van.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially in Excel, Word & PowerPoint).
  • Hands-on experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Maintenance Management Systems (e.g. ServiceNow, SAP, Maximo, Oracle) is an advantage.
  • Possess strong ability and accuracy in terms of receiving and processing instructions/information.
  • Able to work well independently and in a team under a challenging and fast-paced environment.
