Cafe Crew / Customer Experience

Join our friendly team at Cafe Yasuragi and Shoko — a modern Japanese cafe and takeaway concept at Millenia Walk serving Japanese comfort food, coffee, matcha, desserts and drinks in a cosy environment.

We are looking for warm, responsible and service-minded individuals who enjoy customer interaction, hospitality and working in a fast-paced cafe environment. No experience is required for passionate candidates who are willing to learn.

• Welcome and attend to customers warmly
• Explain menu items and ordering process
• Take customer orders and process payments
• Serve food and beverages
• Prepare selected food and drink items according to SOPs
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and food safety standards
• Support daily outlet operations and other ad-hoc duties
• Good to have: able to assist with simple kitchen food preparation when required

• $12–15 per hour, depending on experience

• $2,400–$3,000 per month, depending on experience

• Flexible scheduling
• Up to 35 hours per week

• 45 hours per week
• Rotating shifts including weekends and public holidays

• Food Safety and Hygiene Level 1 certification is mandatory
• Positive and empathetic attitude towards work
• Friendly and comfortable interacting with customers
• Team player with good communication skills
• Fluent in English
• Able to work in a fast-paced cafe environment
• Able to commit weekends and public holidays where required

• Prior F&B, cafe or hospitality experience
• Experience in cashiering, customer service, coffee, matcha or beverage preparation
• Able to assist with simple kitchen food preparation
