Position Overview

The Technical Support Engineer will provide technical expertise and support to internal and external parties, ensuring the smooth operation of systems/software, assisting in project tendering, conducting training sessions, and supporting green mark initiatives.

The role requires strong problem-solving skills, technical documentation expertise, and the ability to work closely with customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support System/Software and Maintenance Teams by troubleshooting major issues, investigating technical problems, preparing documents, meeting clients, conducting site tuning, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Support Tendering and Project Teams by preparing technical documents, collaborating with customers, conducting site tuning, ensuring project alignment with designs, and addressing operational requirements.
  • Plan and Conduct Training for Internal Departments by organizing technical training, knowledge-sharing sessions, and troubleshooting exercises to enhance team skills and efficiency.
  • Support Green Mark-Related Activities by attending meetings, preparing necessary technical documents, performing site tuning, and ensuring adherence to Green Mark standards.
  • Review and Standardize Control Methodologies and Technical Documents to maintain consistency, accuracy, and completeness in technical documentation.
  • Develop and Test New Ideas and Products by proposing innovations, evaluating new technologies, collaborating with R&D, and providing feedback for improvements.
  • Provide Programming Support for Special and Critical Controls by developing, debugging, optimizing programs, assisting maintenance teams, resolving issues, and documenting updates.
  • Deliver technical support for the application system and liaise with vendors and clients to facilitate functional development and implementation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Computing Engineering
  • Ideally with 1 to 3 years of relevant experience, ideally in BMS and Automation industry
  • With basic Mechanical, Electrical Service engineering knowledge, and programming knowledge.
  • Strong communication presentation skills with the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
