R&D Laboratory Assistant
Our client is a chemical specialty manufacturing company. They are currently seeking for R&D Laboratory Assistant.
The role of the R&D Laboratory Assistant includes:
- Carry out assigned tasks related to the development of new research and development initiatives, including analytical and experimental work.
- Support the evaluation and approval process for new raw material sources as directed.
- Provide assistance to the production team in resolving quality-related issues.
- Contribute to process improvements or adjustments when requested by the production department.
- Maintain proper documentation by updating, organizing, and filing analysis reports and related records.
- Monitor and ensure adequate stock levels of laboratory consumables for daily operations.
- Assist in investigating product failures and customer complaints, including testing of submitted samples to support customer service efforts.
- Participate in the development of analytical methods, including coordination with external laboratories where necessary.
- Perform and uphold safety practices as well as general housekeeping within the laboratory.
- Take part in safety and health committee activities when required.
- Support sample preparation activities, ranging from small-scale to larger-scale requests from the sales team.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor from time to time.
Job Requirement:
- Degree/Diploma in Chemistry or equivalent study.
- No experience required.
