About the job
We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Junior Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will assist in gathering and analyzing business requirements, supporting documentation efforts, and facilitating communication between business stakeholders and technical teams.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to develop their skills in business analysis, digital transformation, and agile methodologies.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in gathering, documenting, and analyzing business and system requirements.
- Support requirements discussions and workshops with clients and internal teams.
- Collaborate with developers, testers, and project managers to ensure the solution meets business needs.
- Help translate business requirements into clear, concise functional specifications and user stories.
- Participate in system testing, including preparation of test cases and test execution.
- Assist in the preparation of user manuals, training materials, and process documentation.
- Contribute to post-implementation reviews and user feedback sessions.
- Support project teams in the implementation of Agile or SDLC processes.
- Maintain and update documentation in tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
- Participate in research, analysis, and proposal writing for business solutions.
- 1–3 years of experience in a Business Analyst or similar role. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Up to 2 years of experience in any related roles will be advantageous.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodology.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools is a plus.
Eligibility Requirement
This is an on-site role based in Singapore and is part of the IMDA Company-Led Training (CLT) Programme. Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents are eligible to apply.
