Job Summary
The resource centre senior business analyst will partner with the resource centre managers to ensure cost control activities are undertaken in accordance with company standards and procedures. This position will also provide guidance to the resource centre managers relating to cost control, analysis and reporting.
About the role- Develop and prepare monthly analysis reports on resource centre performance (e.g. profit and loss, equipment and personnel utilization, over/under recovery etc.)
- Ensure all costs directly attributable to the resource centres are tracked and correctly recorded in the correct cost centres in IFS.
- Ensure that variances are communicated to the management to enable corrective actions to be taken when and where necessary.
- Working with the business controllers to develop equipment and personnel charge out rates based on historical analysis of utilization and costs.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual resource center CAPEX budgets, submission of the CAPEX requests for approvals and assisting in the preparation of business cases and ROI analysis for major CAPEX investments.
- Perform ad hoc analysis or scenario analysis at request to support decision making
- Master or Degree in Finance.
- Minimum 3 years or more with similar working experience.
- Strong in numeracy and Microsoft Excel skills with regards to data analysis.
- Experience with ERP system (e.g. IFS)
- Self-motivated to learn new concepts and participate in new projects, takes ownership with a pro-active and critical mindset
