Assistant Project Engineer

You will act as a bridge between the office and the field, ensuring that technical documentation is accurate, schedules are met, and safety standards are upheld.

This is an excellent opportunity for a junior engineer to gain hands-on experience in project lifecycle management and technical operations.

• Project Coordination: Assist in developing project schedules, tracking milestones, and ensuring resources are allocated effectively to meet deadlines.
• Technical Documentation: Manage and maintain project files, including blueprints, CAD drawings, RFI (Request for Information) logs, and submittals.
• Site Supervision: Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, verify that work aligns with technical specifications, and assist in resolving on-site technical issues.
• Vendor & Subcontractor Liaison: Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure materials are delivered on time and work is performed according to contract terms.
• Quality & Safety Compliance: Assist in performing quality control inspections and ensuring all activities comply with local regulations and company safety standards.
• Reporting: Prepare weekly or monthly progress reports for stakeholders, highlighting achievements, potential risks, and budget status.

• Education: A recognized ITE/ Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field of study.
• Experience: Minimum of at least 2 years of relevant experience within the Construction or Industrial Engineering industry in Singapore.
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of Singapore Standards and Codes of Practice.
• Proficiency in reading engineering blueprints and performing technical calculations.
• Soft Skills: Proven ability to interact effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Good organizational skills with a focus on manpower and resource optimization.
