Business Development Executive
About the Role
A growing Singapore-based digital marketing agency is expanding its sales team and is looking for a driven Business Development Executive to build strong client relationships and convert opportunities into long-term partnerships across SEO, SEM, social media, content marketing, and AI chatbot solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Drive new business
Identify, engage, and convert SMEs and mid-sized companies looking to improve their digital marketing performance.
Adopt a consultative approach
Understand client challenges, evaluate potential ROI, and develop tailored proposals that align services with measurable business goals.
Manage your pipeline
Own and maintain a strong sales funnel using HubSpot, consistently working toward monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
Collaborate cross-functionally
Work closely with internal teams across SEO, paid media, content, and tech to ensure smooth onboarding and identify upsell opportunities.
Requirements- At least 2 years of B2B sales or business development experience, ideally within a digital agency, MarTech, SaaS, or media environment
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
- Comfortable explaining SEO and SEM concepts and linking them to business outcomes for non-marketers
- Strong written and spoken English; additional languages such as Mandarin or Bahasa Melayu are a plus when engaging local SMEs
- Self-driven, adaptable, and quick to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with Enterprise Singapore grants (PSG, SFEC, EDG) and how they can support or accelerate sales cycles
- Existing network within Singapore’s SME or mid-market segment
- Experience selling subscription-based or retainer services
