Responsibilities:

The Operations Personnel will be deploy to the bus depot and will be responsible to the Depot Operations Manager for the following:

BUS OPERATIONS
  • Liaise with the Workshop and Interchanges to consolidate the daily availability of buses to support revenue operations
  • Co-ordinate the call back or hold back of buses for maintenance and non-operations related activities
  • Compile and submit daily report of depot bus availability status
  • Assist Bus Captains to locate buses
  • Ensure the bus Electronic Display System is accurate and up to date with bus routes information
  • Supervise the buses’ coinboxes replacement process
  • Drive the Coin Truck
  • Replace publicity posters and hang advertisers’ bus hangars when required
  • Provide support in bus incident/accident reporting and investigation
  • Retrieve Bus CCTV footage HDDs for incident/accident investigation
  • Inspect buses after they had been wash and clean by contractors
DESPATCH OPERATIONS
  • Work with Bus Deployment Personnel/Despatchers to ensure bus is available for scheduled run
  • Attend to Bus Captain reporting absence and update status in on-line systems
  • Compile and submit absentee status reports
BUS TICKETING SYSTEM – DEPOT EQUIPMENT
  • Submit daily report on Depot WLAN availability
  • Carry out verification of Configuration Data downloads as necessary
  • Monitor and report status of BTS Depot Equipment
  • Perform 1st level recovery of BTS depot equipment fault
  • Co-ordinate with the Contractor to carry out higher level recovery maintenance of BTS depot equipment
DEPOT FACILITIES & SERVICES SUPPORT
  • Co-ordinate with the respective term contractors for the recovery of any faults for depot facilities
  • Process and account for ‘Lost & Found’ items reported by Bus Captains
  • Provide assistance to public in collecting their ‘Lost & Found’ at Depot premises
  • Carry out daily inspection of Depot facilities

Requirements:

  • Minimum GCE 'O' or 'N' level
  • Possess a Class 3 driving licence
  • Familiar with MS Office applications
  • Shift work required
