Job Description
The Executive/Senior Executive, Volunteer Centre reports to the Manager, Volunteer Centre at Boon Lay. The person coordinates recruitment activities for volunteers and matches them to the appropriate programmes and clients based on programme requirements and the interest of volunteers, and supporting all aspects of the Boon Lay Volunteer Centre, community relations, services to both current or potential volunteers and to the Social Service Agencies within or outside of boundaries, connecting resources at all levels towards an efficacious working relationship and maintains networks with local community service and grassroots organisations for the benefit of service beneficiaries.
Responsibilities- Support the growing volunteer networks and the development of sustainable volunteerism.
- Conduct recruitment, orientation, training, retention, and recognition plan for individual and group volunteers to ensure that all volunteers are knowledgeable and feel valued
- Establish strategic partnerships across Boon Lay Town, develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with collaborative partners ensuring that mutually agreed upon expectations are being met
- Expand and multiply efforts of volunteer management and social service agency support
- Develop and strategize operationalization plans to outreach and market opportunities for both volunteers and partners
- Develop, update, and maintain public content and engagement platforms
- Any other duties required of the volunteer centre
- Minimum Bachelor's degree or Diploma
- Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proactive and highly accountable for the work assigned
- Pleasant and resourceful, and takes initiative to drive improvements and developments
- Have an interest and passion to work with partners and new people groups
- Able to work independently and in teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and social media platforms.
