Job Description

Responsibilities:

Good domain and functional knowledge on Market and Referential data in supporting Global Markets, Risk, Finance, Regulatory reporting, Wholesale and Retail banking.

Good understanding in Market and Referential data of the financial market data feeds on Equities, Fixed Income, FX, Commodities, Money Markets.

Extend the knowledge of market data to provide solutions and support Wholesale banking, Retail banking and Financial or Regulatory reporting

To be part of the team to embark Market Data Enterprise new project initiative.

With NeoXam DataHub or Markit EDM specific product and development experiences to lead the design of Data model, establish as golden Data Source and distribute data to downstream systems at bank's enterprise level.

Responsible in bridging gap between IT and the business using data analytics to assess processes, collate requirements and deliver data and process driven recommendations to deliver business solutions.

Analyse user (front to back office) requirements and formulate functional and work with developer to deliver technical design documents.

Co-ordinate with vendor on specifications, build, delivery testing, and implementation.

Communicate and manage end-to-end testing for users with vendor to internal UOB systems.

Support Pre-ITC project on the analysis and design of the solutions for the NeoXam DataHub Infrastructure and application upgrade. To deliver and lead QRs.

Requirements:

Degree, IT Engineering, Business or Finance

You have minimum of 5 years of experience with IT projects in the banking / financial / insurance industry.

Product knowledge in NeoXam Datahub, formerly known as Smartco/Golden Source

Key functional domain knowledge on Market Data for Global Market Trading and its usage for downstream regulatory reporting.

Co-ordinate with vendor on specifications, delivery testing, and implementation.

Communicate and manage end-to-end testing for Business/Operation Users with vendor to internal bank systems.

Analytical and a problem solver.

You have minimum of 2 years of experience with software implementation in the areas of Markit EDM, Enterprise Data Management (EDM), DataWarehouse (DW-ETL) or Business Intelligence (BI).

Preferred Requirements:

You are fluent in English and are perfectly capable of evolving in an English speaking environment.

You are highly motivated by the banking / financial / insurance industry and have a sound knowledge of the main financial instruments

You are independent, with own initiative and good interpersonal skills and are concerned about the quality of service provided

You have good teaching ability and a very good sense of organization and communication

You are curious, proactive and a real team player
