Role Overview

We are seeking a results-driven and customer-focused Telesales Officer to support our campaign-based sales initiatives. This role primarily involves engaging cardmembers and prospects through cold calling, promoting financial products such as credit cards and personal loan facilities.

The ideal candidate is confident in cold outreach, disciplined in lead management, and capable of delivering consistent sales performance in a target-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct outbound telesales cold calls to cardmembers and prospects for campaign-based financial products
  • Deliver structured and persuasive sales pitches aligned with campaign objectives
  • Achieve daily call targets, talk time requirements, and monthly sales targets
  • Perform needs-based consultation to recommend suitable financial products and repayment tenure
  • Manage and maintain assigned leads, including proper recording of call outcomes, timely follow-ups to maximize conversion, ensuring efficient lead utilization and prioritization
  • Handle end-to-end application processing, ensuring accuracy and timely submission via digital systems
  • Ensure compliance with MAS regulations, internal policies, and voice logging requirements
  • Provide basic customer service support and escalate complex cases when required
  • Update and maintain accurate records in CRM systems
Requirements
  • Minimum GCE ‘N’ Level or equivalent
  • Possess at least 1–2 years of telesales / sales experience (financial services preferred)
  • Proven ability or willingness to perform cold calling as a core sales approach
  • Strong communication, persuasion, and objection-handling skills
  • Good understanding of lead management and follow-up discipline
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office / CRM systems
