Telesales Representative (Base + Commission)

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Telesales Representative / Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support our continued growth in the Singapore market. As an SDR, you will play a critical role in engaging with prospective merchants interested in our payment terminal and merchant service solutions.
This is an inside sales role. You will work closely with the field sales team, following up on leads from canvassing activities and digital channels. Your main objective is to qualify leads, schedule appointments for the field sales team, and ensure a smooth handover which contributes to successful conversions.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct outbound calls and follow-up with leads generated by field sales team, marketing campaigns and other lead sources.
- Qualify prospect interest, business fit, and readiness before passing nurtured and qualified opportunities to field sales representatives for conversion.
- Schedule and confirm appointments for the field sales team, ensuring all necessary details and context are logged into the CRM.
- Update and maintain accurate records of interactions, notes and lead statuses in the CRM system.
- Collaborate closely with the BD managers and Head of Sales to track appointment outcomes and conversion performance.
- Deliver persuasive, professional sales pitches while managing initial objections, any concerns, pain-points and maximize lead quality and engagement.
- Provide regular feedback to the RevOps & Strategy team and the field sales team on lead quality, messaging improvement, and opportunities for workflow/information flow improvement.
- Ownership: Takes responsibility for activity targets and self-tracks progress.

- Collaboration: Work in close alignment with different departments for the consistent handover of leads and post-appointment tracking.

- Degree/Diploma in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in tele-sales, inside sales, or lead qualification (preferably in payments, fintech, B2B services sales).
- Strong verbal communication skills – Good command of English and conversational skills in Mandarin/Malay/Tamil a plus.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Wati, etc.) and lead management workflows.
- Passionate about sales development, learning, and growing into account or field sales roles in future.
