Business Development Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES
1️⃣ Revenue Generation & Ownership- Own and achieve quarterly and annual sales revenue targets.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand market share.
- Drive new business acquisition and upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
- Build and maintain a strong and healthy sales pipeline.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through outbound prospecting and networking.
- Develop target account lists and penetration strategies.
- Engage C-level and senior decision-makers.
- Conduct discovery meetings to identify customer needs and align solutions.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation and deal closure.
- Prepare commercial proposals, pricing structures, and business cases.
- Lead contract negotiations and close high-value deals.
- Ensure smooth transition to delivery / operations teams post-sale.
- Build long-term strategic relationships with clients.
- Maintain regular engagement to drive retention and account growth.
- Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities.
- Provide market insights to management for strategic planning.
- Recommend improvements in product positioning and go-to-market strategies.
- Work closely with marketing, sales operations, and solution teams.
- Align sales activities with company growth strategy.
- Support regional or sector-based expansion initiatives.
- Maintain accurate CRM updates.
- Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports.
- Track KPIs including revenue, pipeline value, win rate, and sales cycle duration.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience- Minimum 2 years of B2B sales or business development experience.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Experience handling enterprise or mid-market clients.
- Experience in technology / consulting / SaaS / enterprise solutions preferred.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Ability to manage complex sales cycles.
- Strong business acumen and commercial awareness.
- Excellent presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to engage senior management and decision-makers.
- Strong pipeline management and forecasting capability.
