Service Technician / Assistant Engineer

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate/Nitec in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
• Required Skill(s): Computer, Microsoft Office, and general technical knowledge.
• Required to travel Overseas. And able to travel on short notice
• Preferably Non-Executive specialized in Customer Service or equivalent.
• 5-day work week (Monday to Friday. 9am to 6pm)
• Able to Standby and work on after-office hours, weekend or Public Holiday if required
• Able to work long hours on occasional basis.
• Candidates without working experience are welcome (On- job training will be provided.)

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for customer support/servicing/ in-house Calibration and technical activities.
• Prepare Service jobs and machine parts quotation instruction to Administrator.
• Submit warranty claims to factory on behalf of customer.
• To perform on-site advice, installation, preventive maintenance, repairs of company products.
• Answer customer questions relating to technical and service problems with tact and courtesy
• Practice continuous improvement by staying up to date with new knowledge of equipment modifications, new systems, and related technical information
• Take initiative to inform customers of additional services or refers product sales opportunities to the sales team
• Share customer feedback to colleagues to innovate and create positive long-term benefits
• Manage all resources, materials and equipment required for each project to deliver the project effectively and efficiently.
