Build Content. Tell Stories. Make Giving Feel Good.

We are looking for a Social Media Executive to help us build the online presence of Give.com.sg, Singapore’s community-driven online fundraising platform.

This is not a “just post what we tell you” kind of role.

We are looking for someone who enjoys content, understands what makes people stop scrolling, and is excited to turn charity campaigns, impact stories, and community moments into content that people actually want to watch, read, and share.

You’ll be helping to grow GiveSG’s voice across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Facebook — from content ideas and short-form videos to campaign stories and social media posts.

What You’ll Be Doing

Your role will be roughly split into:

70% Content & Social Media

Creating, posting, testing ideas, and building GiveSG’s social media presence from the ground up.

30% Campaign Support, Fundraising & Admin

Helping with charity campaigns, fundraising materials, partner coordination, and day-to-day support.

Content & Social Media (70%)

You will:

  • Help build GiveSG’s social media presence from scratch
  • Create and publish content across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Facebook
  • Come up with content ideas, hooks, captions, reels, carousels, and storytelling angles
  • Turn charity campaigns and impact stories into engaging social media content
  • Spot trends and adapt them in a way that fits our brand and mission
  • Create simple but effective visuals using Canva or similar tools
  • Maintain a content calendar and posting rhythm
  • Track what works, what doesn’t, and what we should try next
  • Help make giving, fundraising, and charity work feel more relatable and exciting

Campaign Support, Fundraising & Admin (30%)

You will also:

  • Support fundraising campaigns and community initiatives
  • Assist with campaign write-ups, decks, and simple marketing materials
  • Help coordinate with charity partners and stakeholders
  • Support engagement activities, events, and outreach where needed
  • Maintain basic tracking documents and provide general admin support

Who We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for someone who is chronically online in the best way possible.

You know what makes content feel natural. You understand social media trends. You probably notice good captions, viral hooks, awkward corporate posts, and videos that could have been edited better.

You don’t need to have everything figured out, but you should be curious, creative, and willing to try.

You may be a good fit if you:

  • Enjoy creating content and being active on social media
  • Understand TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and online trends
  • Have a creative mindset and enjoy brainstorming new ideas
  • Are interested in social impact, charities, fundraising, and community work
  • Are comfortable working in a growing, fast-moving environment
  • Are responsible and able to follow through on tasks
  • Are outgoing, curious, and not afraid to suggest ideas
  • Can balance creativity with getting things done

Bonus points if you have experience growing a social media page, creating viral content, building an online following, or managing your own content account.

Requirements
  • Diploma, Degree, or relevant experience in Marketing, Communications, Business, Media, or a related field
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Familiar with TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube
  • Able to use Canva, Google Docs, PowerPoint, and basic content creation tools
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks
  • Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
  • Prior experience in social media, content creation, digital marketing, or community engagement is a plus

Why This Role Is Different

This is a chance to be part of something early.

Give.com.sg is a growing platform supporting charities across Singapore, and you’ll play a key role in shaping how we show up online.

You’ll get to:

  • Build a social media presence from the ground up
  • Work on real charity campaigns and meaningful causes
  • Create content that goes beyond just selling a product
  • Experiment with ideas, formats, and storytelling styles
  • Gain exposure to fundraising, partnerships, campaigns, and events
  • Be part of work that supports charities and communities in Singapore

How to Apply

Send us your resume.

And if you have a portfolio, TikTok page, Instagram account, content samples, past campaigns, or anything creative you’re proud of — we’d love to see it.
