Full-Time English Tutor (Bilingual English-Chinese)

We are seeking a dedicated and versatile English Teacher to deliver high-quality instruction across both Foundation English (Language Acquisition) and Upper-Level English (Literature & Writing). The ideal candidate will be confident teaching in both English and Mandarin, and experienced with international school curricula such as IB, IPC, Cambridge, or similar frameworks.

• Teach Foundation English to support vocabulary development, reading fluency, grammar, and communication skills.
• Teach Upper-Level English with a focus on literary analysis, academic writing, and critical thinking.
• Design and deliver engaging, student-centered lessons aligned with IB, IPC, Cambridge, or equivalent curricula.
• Support students’ development in reading, writing, speaking, listening, and analytical skills.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of students with varying English proficiency levels.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with students and parents regarding progress and expectations.
• Provide timely, constructive feedback and maintain accurate academic records.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure cohesive planning and consistent learning outcomes.
• Assist students with coursework, exam preparation, and long-term skill-building.
• Create a supportive and motivating learning environment that encourages curiosity and confidence.

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
• Ability to teach effectively in both English and Mandarin.
• Experience teaching English in international school settings (IB, IPC, Cambridge, etc.) preferred.
• Strong understanding of inquiry-based learning and student-centered instruction.
• Excellent communication, classroom management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to differentiate instruction for learners of diverse backgrounds and proficiency levels.

• Experience with IB PYP/MYP/DP English or Cambridge English.
• Familiarity with bilingual or dual-language teaching environments.
• Prior tutoring or international school teaching experience.
• Training in literacy development or second-language acquisition.
