About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sustainability Regulatory Analyst to join our team. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance with sustainability regulations across the APJ (Asia Pacific and Japan) region, supporting policy analysis, regulatory tracking, and technical advocacy.
Key Responsibilities- Detect, analyze, and influence sustainability regulations within the APJ region, maintaining a roadmap and compliance dashboard
- Track and support compliance with legislative requirements on WEEE, batteries, packaging, eco design, waste shipment, materials, ESG, supply chain responsibility, climate, repair, and circular economy
- Develop policy analysis and compliance guidance for internal teams
- Attend meetings with industry associations, policy makers, and stakeholders to understand regulations and provide technical advocacy support
- Act as regional lead for specific regulatory topics, collaborating with global leads to provide expertise and guidance within APJ
- Work with colleagues in other regions to provide a global overview of relevant regulations
- Support specialist sustainability programs and compliance transformation projects
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Policy, Environmental Management, Environmental Law, or related fields
- Passion for sustainability and drive to make a positive impact
- Knowledge and experience in sustainability policy or compliance roles
- Ability to understand compliance requirements and develop practical solutions
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Advocacy and influencing skills to engage stakeholders effectively
- Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and quality orientation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Expertise in areas such as WEEE, batteries, packaging, eco design, waste shipment, materials, ESG, supply chain responsibility, climate, repair, or circular economy
- Experience in policy-making environments or compliance projects
- Technical skills such as data analysis, Power BI, or AI applications
