Senior Manager/Manager, Procurement (IT category) - Geylang

The role is an individual contributor reporting directly to the Head of Department.

Responsibilities:

• To carry out technology procurement activities under the guidance of the organization needs.
• Ensure full compliance with the company’s procurement policies and procedures, while guaranteeing all purchases align with applicable regulatory requirements at all times.
• Continuously identify, review, and recommend enhancements to administrative processes and procedures to drive efficiency and improvements, without compromising quality or compliance.
• Create comprehensive commodity or category strategies that outline end-to-end sourcing plans, supplier evaluations, cost and quality gap analyses, logistics solutions, and detailed technical roadmaps annually.
• Lead supplier negotiations using various techniques—such as market benchmarking, long-term agreements, cost analysis, and predictive modeling—to secure optimal value in every deal.
• Conduct thorough evaluations to ensure competitive pricing, with a strong focus on total cost of ownership and return on investment for each purchase.
• Clearly summarize sourcing recommendations and effectively communicate them to stakeholders and end users in a simple, concise, and persuasive manner.
• Organize and facilitate regular annual business reviews with key suppliers and internal stakeholders, following a structured roadmap to enhance operational performance, cost efficiency, and service level compliance.
• Issue purchase orders and proactively follow up with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and maintain agreed-upon service levels internally and externally.
• Serve as the procurement team’s technology expert, offering sound advice and recommendations to user departments to support informed and timely operational decisions.
• Exhibit strong customer service skills, along with integrity, professionalism, adaptability, innovation, and effective time management in all interactions and responsibilities.
• Perform additional tasks, duties, or special projects as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent practical experience in a related discipline is required.
• At least 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience in end-to-end indirect technology procurement across all categories, or expertise in at least two specific technology procurement areas.
• Proven project management capabilities, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and drive several projects to completion simultaneously.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively while managing relationships with key stakeholders and end users.
