Procurement Specialist - Toa Payoh

Job Description:

• Be responsible for the delivery, quality, and cost indicators of the company during market bidding and project delivery.
• Maintain a good local supplier ecosystem and establish friendly and cooperative relations with suppliers.
• Align with the company's new business development trend and seek suitable supplier resources in the market.
• Monitor the internal control of pan-procurement personnel according to corporate management regulations.
• Ensure delivery team avoid the procurement violation of company rules.
• Make sure the supplier delivers the highest quality at the lowest possible price.
• Analyze procurement requirements and prepare purchasing strategies.
• Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
• Build and maintain good relationships with key suppliers.
• Conduct market research and cost analysis to identify savings opportunities.
• Work with the project team to design a most suitable and cost efficiency frame contract between suppliers/subcontractors
• Clearing the LTO supplier PO acceptance.
• To collaborate and communicate directly with Chinese speaking officers, stakeholders, counterparts, and customers in China HQ team.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum a bachelor degree in Engineering or a related field.
• At least 3 years’ experience in corporate procurement position in information communication technology (ICT) industry.
• Have experience in risk control management.
• Willingness to undertake frequent international travel for business purposes.
• Have experience in managing projects with an annual procurement amount of US$5 million and get good cost savings.
• Proven experience in managing a portfolio of 10+ suppliers, including conducting quarterly performance evaluations and overseeing annual supplier portfolio management.
• Experience in bidding for integration projects, such as data center projects.
• Experience in organizing large supplier convention with more than 200 people.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is essential to facilitate effective communication with Chinese-speaking stakeholders, including head office, business counterparts and customers based in China.
