Resident Technical Officer (Architectural) - Toa Payoh
Scope includes but not limited to:-
Technical Support:
Provide technical support to the Architects and other project team members, including reviewing method statements and material submissions and attending of trade demos and mockups.
Stakeholder Communication:
Participate in meetings, progress reviews, and coordination sessions with project team members, authorities, and statutory boards.
Project Progress:
Monitor project progress to ensure timely execution of architectural works.
Safety and Compliance:
Enforce compliance with site safety regulations and MOM requirements, and report any incidents, non-compliance, or near misses.
Variation Management:
Assist in verifying variation works measurement records and keeping records of variations as instructed or approved by the Superintending Officer.
Documentation and Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate records of all site activities, including inspection reports, test reports, correspondence, and other relevant documentation.
Quality Control:
Monitor site conditions, highlight discrepancies between drawings and actual site situations, and conduct periodic inspections to ensure quality workmanship. To assist the architects and Superintending Officer to ensure all design intent are executed accurately on site.
Coordination and Integration:
Coordinate architectural works with other disciplines like civil, structural, and M&E, escalating any discrepancies or issues to the Architects and/or Superintending Officer.
Material and Finish Management:
Review and ensure timely submission of architectural materials, samples, and finishes for approval.
Site Supervision and Inspection:
Regularly inspect architectural works on site to ensure they adhere to architectural drawings, specifications, and relevant codes.
Any additional ad-hoc tasks may be assigned as needed to support the project.
