Job Purpose

The Technical Officer will perform preventive maintenance (PM), corrective maintenance (CM)

and fault attendance tasks for the equipment within IFM purview, in accordance with quality and

safety standards. To ensure works carried out comply to Work Instructions (WI), Work Records

(WR) and maintenance manuals.

• The Technical Officer duties and responsibilities are as listed below. Note that the list is not
• comprehensive and related duties and responsibilities may be assigned from time to time.
• Perform PM , CM and fault attendance in Station / Tunnel / Depot for IFM
• equipment (Electrical switchboards, fire alarm systems, ACMV systems,
• escalators & lifts, infrastructure & facilities).
• Perform fault attendance, troubleshooting and rectification.
• Liaise with internal or external partners to ensure smooth operations of IFM
• equipment.
• Assist Assistant Engineer (AE) to carry out accident and incident investigation
• Assist the AE in execution and supervision of planned works.
• Supervise the PM & CM works carried out by contractor, ensuring that the
• work is carried out safely and meets the expected quality and standards.
• Assist the AE to send the Inspection, Test and Measuring Equipment (ITME) for
• calibration.
• Assist Audit clarification and inspection for both external and internal parties.
• Maintain and dispose material inventory
• Assist to close maintenance work orders.
• Handle Permit-To-Work for internal customers.
• To perform rotating shift duties.
• To perform driving duty.
• To undertake any other tasks or functions that are incidental or ancillary to the
• performance of assigned work.
