Accouts officer (AP/AR)

About the role

We are seeking for Accounts Officer (AP/AR) to join our dynamic team at NSG Global Pte Ltd in the Jurong East West Region. This full-time position will be responsible for managing accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, ensuring the accuracy and timely processing of financial transactions.

• Process and reconcile accounts payable transactions, including invoice verification, approval, and timely payment processing.
• Manage accounts receivable functions, including customer invoicing, payment follow-up, and cash application.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and financial reports.
• Liaise with internal departments and external vendors to resolve accounting discrepancies and operational issues.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and reporting.
• Support various accounting, finance, and business projects as assigned.
• Perform ad hoc accounting, administrative, and office support duties as required

• Minimum 1 years of experience in accounts payable and/or accounts receivable
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles
• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office suite
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
