We are looking for a dedicated and skilled IT Support Engineer to provide day-to-day support for End User Computing Devices (EUCD) across our organization. This role involves troubleshooting, administration, configuration, and management of user accounts and computing devices.You will play a critical part in ensuring seamless user experiences and operational continuity.
Responsibilities:
- Provide first and second-level support for all EUCD-related issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues for end users.
- Perform EUCD administration and configuration tasks.
- Manage end-user accounts and device access rights.
- Apply hardening and lockdown policies to end-user devices to ensure compliance and security.
- Oversee image build creation, deployment, and management.
- Conduct end-user briefings and awareness sessions for new tools or policies.
Devices Supported:
- Desktops and Notebooks
- Printers and Multi-function Devices (Print, Scan, Fax)
- iPads or equivalent tablets
- Mobile Devices
- IP Telephones
- Peripherals (e.g., external hard drives, thumb drives, monitors, smart card readers, mice)
Areas of Technical Support:
- Hardware diagnostics and replacement
- Operating systems (Windows, macOS, etc.)
- OS components and service packs
- Registry settings and system configurations
- Device driver installation and troubleshooting
- Compatibility testing across various hardware/software platforms
- Network and peripheral connectivity
- End-to-end support for all hardware and software components of EUCDs
Requirements:
- Min NITEC in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT support, especially in end-user computing environments.
- Familiarity with desktop and mobile operating systems.
- Strong knowledge of hardware troubleshooting and software installations.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
