Senior International Relations Support Officer

The International Relations Division (IRD) facilitates and coordinates engagements that strengthen Singapore’s judicial partnerships with international counterparts.

This role will lead the planning and execution of international visits, meetings and events. The officer will provide oversight of operational and protocol arrangements to ensure engagements are delivered professionally and seamlessly.

Job Scope:

  1. End-to-End Event & Visit Management
  • Plan and execute inbound and outbound visits, including programme design, scheduling and logistics
  • Develop detailed run sheets and ensure smooth on-site execution of engagements
  • Coordinate across internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure alignment and readiness
  1. Protocol Oversight
  • Advise on and implement appropriate protocol arrangements, including order of precedence, seating and engagement etiquette
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy in protocol-related matters across engagements
  1. Stakeholder & Vendor Management
  • Serve as a key point of contact for foreign delegations, embassies and partners
  • Manage vendors and service providers to ensure timely and quality delivery
  1. Operational Planning & Coordination
  • Anticipate operational risks and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner
  • Maintain oversight of timelines, dependencies and deliverables across multiple engagements
  1. Bicentennial Event Delivery
  • Play a key role in supporting the delivery of international components of events
  • Ensure high standards of execution for high-level engagements
Requirements:
  • Experience: Prior experience in event management, protocol or international relations, preferably in a government or corporate setting
  • Execution Excellence: Strong project management skills with the ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder engagements
  • Protocol Familiarity: Understanding of protocol practices and ability to apply them appropriately
  • Team Work: Able to guide and coordinate among a variety of team members, colleagues and other stakeholders effectively
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous and organised, with a strong sense of accountability
  • Composure: Calm under pressure and able to respond to evolving situations
Mondays to Thursdays 8.30 am to 6.00 pm
Fridays: 8.30 am to 5.30pm
Location: City Hall
