The Product Executive acts as the Service Product Owner and in-house consultant, overseeing the implementation, deployment, and continuous improvement of the Risk-Mapping product. This role bridges business users, external technology providers, and stakeholders to ensure effective product performance, user adoption, and alignment with sustainability objectives.
Business domain: Risk‑Mapping digital platform designed to assess and monitor sustainability risks in natural processed product supply chains.
Product Management & Delivery (Approximately 45%)- Monitor product performance and proactively address operational or technical issues during product use.
- Lead weekly project management meetings with external technology vendors to review reported issues, development progress, and upcoming enhancements.
- Translate business and user requirements into clear functional specifications, dashboard prototypes, and technical documentation for vendor implementation.
- Coordinate and perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in pre-production environments, including creating, executing, and tracking test cases prior to release.
- Raise, track, and manage technical tickets with third-party vendors to ensure timely resolution.
- User Engagement & Onboarding (Approximately 25%)
- Lead onboarding sessions and user training through online meetings.
- Conduct regular follow-up sessions with existing users to ensure smooth adoption and progress.
- Maintain and update the user database to track onboarding status, product usage, and assessment progress.
- Support the preparation of analysis and summary reports following users’ risk assessment completion.
- Strategic Product Improvement (Approximately 20%)
- Gather, analyse, and synthesise user feedback and product usage insights to recommend enhancements.
- Collaborate closely with technology vendors to implement functional improvements and resolve performance issues.
- Support backend and workflow changes when required to improve efficiency and scalability of the product.
- Stakeholder & Internal Engagement (Approximately 10%)
- Support regular coordination and follow-up meetings with key stakeholders, including manufacturing clients, industry partners, and non-profit organisations.
- Assist with strategic communication and marketing initiatives, including content support for professional platforms such as LinkedIn.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Technology, Environmental Studies, Sustainability, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience, preferably in product management, IT project management, supply chain sustainability, or digital solutions.
- Strong interest or academic background in social and environmental sustainability is highly preferred.
- Experience with dashboards and data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Odoo, or similar platforms is an advantage.
- Solid understanding of web-based applications, ERP systems, and product development workflows.
- Highly proactive, creative, and capable of managing multiple parallel tasks independently.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate user needs into actionable technical requirements.
